White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt said in a statement on social media that the Washington Post report is completely false and that no such incident ever occurred.

She said that she was present at Camp David with President Trump and Defense Secretary Pat Hegseth herself, so she can say with certainty that the incident described in the report never occurred.

According to Caroline Levitt, the White House had also informed the Washington Post several times that its report was incorrect, but the news was published despite this.

The spokesperson alleged that some media outlets are constantly trying to criticize Defense Secretary Pat Hegseth, even though President Trump has full confidence in him.

He said that President Trump is happy with the Secretary of Defense, likes him and believes that he is performing his duties in the best possible way.

The Washington Post report claimed that there were differences between President Trump and the Secretary of Defense on the recent war on Iran and US policy, however, the White House has called all these claims baseless.

This statement has come at a time when the US strategy on Iran and the various decisions of the US government on the situation in the Middle East have become the center of global attention.
