According to the international news agency Reuters, three senior Israeli officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said they believe it is unlikely that Iran will accept US demands in a new round of talks. The talks ended on February 28 when the US and Israel launched possible military operations against Iran.

According to these officials, possible US demands could include sanctions on Iran s nuclear program and ballistic missile program.

On the other hand, on Monday, President Trump said on social media that the US and Iran had had very good and productive talks regarding a complete end to fighting in the Middle East, however, Iran said after this statement that no such talks had taken place.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that President Trump believes that war goals can be achieved through an agreement that leverages the achievements of the Israeli Defense Forces and the US military. According to him, such an agreement would also ensure the protection of Israel s vital interests.
