US President Donald Trump has said that ongoing negotiations with Iran are moving in a positive direction but warned that if a comprehensive agreement is not reached the situation could return to war and serious confrontation.

In a statement posted on his social media platform Truth Social President Trump said the deal with Iran would either be the ‘best deal’ or there would be ‘no deal at all’ which could lead back to the battlefield although nobody wants that outcome.

He revealed that during discussions with the leaders of Saudi Arabia the United Arab Emirates Qatar Pakistan Turkiye Egypt Jordan and Bahrain he urged all these countries to simultaneously join the Abraham Accords after a possible agreement with Iran.

Donald Trump said the United States has made significant efforts to manage the complex situation in the region therefore the concerned countries should at least collectively become part of the Abraham Accords aimed at normalising relations with Israel.

He said the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain are already part of the accords while Saudi Arabia Qatar Pakistan Turkiye Egypt and Jordan should also join the process.

He added that one or two countries may have reasons not to participate but most countries should be ready to become part of what he described as a historic settlement.

Trump claimed that the Abraham Accords have brought economic financial and social benefits to participating countries including the United Arab Emirates Bahrain Morocco Sudan and Kazakhstan.

He further said that if Iran reaches an agreement with the United States it would also be an ‘honour’ to include Iran in the Abraham Accords in the future.

President Trump stated that such a development could make the Middle East united powerful and economically strong for the first time.

He also directed his representatives to immediately begin efforts aimed at bringing the concerned countries into the Abraham Accords.
