Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said that Moscow wants the two countries to reduce tensions and continue talks so that further instability in the region does not arise.

Maria Zakharova has said that Russia is still ready to help Iran transfer enriched uranium out, but Moscow is not imposing its proposal on anyone.

She said that this offer has been around for several months, but the US has not responded positively to it so far.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump has made it clear that the US will not allow Iran to keep its stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

According to reports, Iran has about 440 kilograms of uranium, which has been enriched to 60 percent.

This issue is considered the biggest obstacle in the ongoing peace talks between Iran and Western countries. World powers are expressing concern that if tensions do not decrease, the region could once again head towards a major conflict.
