The Iranian leader stressed that his country refuses to be pushed into a corner. According to him, attempts to intimidate Iran will only deepen its resolve. ‘We will turn the enemy’s dreams into nightmares,’ he said, using striking words to underline the country’s defiant stance.
Despite the tough language, Pezeshkian also signaled that Iran seeks friendly ties with its neighbors across the region. He explained that Tehran values cooperation and stable relations with nearby states. However, he added that this desire for diplomacy should not be mistaken for weakness or a surrender of Iran’s right to defend itself.

The president also addressed recent tensions involving military strikes. He noted that Iran’s actions were not aimed at neighboring countries but rather at facilities linked to the United States. According to him, the targets were American military bases and installations operating in the region.
His remarks highlight a delicate balance in Iran’s foreign policy on one hand, seeking regional friendship, and on the other, showing readiness to confront what it sees as external pressure.
Analysts say the message from Tehran is both a warning and a signal. While Iran is open to dialogue with its neighbors, it is equally prepared to respond forcefully if it feels its sovereignty or security is under threat.
