Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqai told a news briefing that messages are being exchanged with the US through Pakistan and the focus of the upcoming talks will be a complete ceasefire.

He said that these diplomatic contacts have been ongoing since last Sunday, in which messages sent by Pakistan are being received and Iran s position in this regard is clear and unequivocal.

Esmail Baqai said that it is highly likely that Iran will host a Pakistani delegation today in the continuation of the talks, which is expected to accelerate this diplomatic process.

According to the Iranian news agency Islamic Republic News Agency, in these talks, in addition to the ceasefire, the lifting of sanctions on Iran and compensation for losses incurred during the war were also discussed in detail.

Ismail Baqai took a strong stance in his statement, saying that the American and Zionist governments consider every Iranian as their enemy, but Iran will not compromise on protecting its national interests and rights.

It should be noted that this development has come at a time when diplomatic efforts have intensified at the global level to end the ongoing tension in the Middle East, and Pakistan has emerged as an important mediator.
