According to the Israeli military, a rocket launched from Lebanon during the past hour was intercepted by air defense systems after warning sirens were activated in the areas of Margaliot and Kiryat Shmona.

The military said two additional rockets fired from Lebanon landed near Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon. No casualties were reported in either incident.

Meanwhile, warning sirens for a suspected hostile aircraft intrusion were activated in the northern Israeli areas of Rosh HaNikra and Betzet Beach.

Following an investigation, the Israeli military said an explosive drone had crashed inside Israeli territory near the Lebanese border.

Israeli authorities said no injuries were reported as a result of the drone incident. However, security forces have increased surveillance and reinforced precautionary measures in the affected areas.

The latest developments come amid a recent rise in cross-border exchanges between Israel and Hezbollah, raising concerns about the possibility of a broader regional confrontation.
