According to the Tasnim news agency, Khamenei said, ‘The Americans should understand that if they start a war this time, it will turn into a regional conflict.’ His remarks come as U.S. President Donald Trump continues to make strong, threat laden statements regarding Iran.

Addressing Trump’s repeated references to military power, Khamenei emphasized that the Iranian people would not be intimidated. ‘Our nation has never bowed under pressure, and we will not be swayed by such threats in the future,’ he stated.
