As talks to de-escalate the conflict are reportedly planned to take place in Islamabad, Tehran’s firm stance adds a complex layer to the unfolding diplomatic saga.

According to Iranian state media, a senior political and security official revealed that Washington is pushing multiple diplomatic channels with proposals deemed by Iran as ‘overstepping limits.’

The official outlined Tehran’s five non-negotiable conditions, including a complete end to enemy aggression and killings, a coordinated framework to prevent renewed conflict, guaranteed compensation for war damages, cessation of hostilities against resistance groups across all fronts, and international recognition of Iran’s authority over the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

Earlier, British news agencies reported that Pakistan has delivered the US peace proposals to Iran, although no official confirmation or detailed disclosure of the 15-point plan’s contents has been made. Both Turkey and Pakistan remain under consideration as possible venues for these crucial negotiations.

While the full 15-point plan remains officially unseen, Israeli and American media outlets have leaked key elements. According to Israel’s Channel 12, the proposals include deactivation and dismantling of Iran’s nuclear facilities in Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow; comprehensive international monitoring by the International Atomic Energy Agency; cessation of Iran’s support for armed proxy groups and regional militias; elimination of existing nuclear capabilities; commitment to forgo nuclear weapons development; prohibition of uranium enrichment on Iranian soil with all enriched material under international control; and designation of the Strait of Hormuz as a ‘free maritime zone’ without restrictions.

Furthermore, missile limitations are to be determined later, but any arsenal would be strictly defensive and quantitatively capped. Under the proposed deal, the US would assist in civilian nuclear projects, including electricity production at Bushehr, while lifting all sanctions against Iran and ensuring they cannot be reinstated.

Reports also suggest the possibility of a one month ceasefire during negotiations, though no official confirmation or details have emerged from the White House.
