According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), Iran fired seven ballistic missiles toward Kuwait and Bahrain. The US military said six of the missiles were intercepted, while the seventh failed to reach its intended target.

In a statement, CENTCOM said there were no reports of casualties among US personnel and dismissed Iranian claims that the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain had been damaged during the attacks.

Meanwhile, Iran s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for the missile launches, saying the attacks targeted American military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain as retaliation for US strikes on Iranian military facilities.

Iranian officials stated that US forces had carried out strikes on Iranian radar sites earlier in the night, prompting what Tehran described as a defensive response.

Separately, Kuwait s military confirmed that the country had come under missile and drone attacks, adding that its air defense systems were activated to counter the threats.

The Kuwaiti Armed Forces said that explosions heard by residents were the result of air defense systems intercepting incoming missiles and drones. The military added that all necessary measures were being taken to protect the country s airspace and critical infrastructure.

In Bahrain, the Ministry of Interior announced that air raid sirens had been activated across the kingdom, while security agencies continued to monitor the situation closely.

The latest developments have raised concerns about a broader regional confrontation, as tensions continue to mount across the Gulf following the exchange of military actions between Washington and Tehran.
