The standout star of the match was Sameer Minhas, who played a breathtaking innings of 172 runs.
His knock was packed with clean hitting, including 17 fours and 9 sixes, and he reached 103 runs in just 71 balls. Sameer’s fearless approach and sharp shot selection made him the heartbeat of Pakistan’s innings, and he finished the tournament as the top scorer.
He received solid support from Ahmed Hussain, who scored a steady 56, while Usman Khan added 35 runs. Captain Farhan Yousaf chipped in with 19, and Hamza Zahoor contributed 18. Lower down the order, Mohammad Siyam 13 and Naqab Shafiq 12 stayed unbeaten to push the total to an imposing height.
For India, Depesh Devendran was the most successful bowler with three wickets, while Khilan Patel and Henal Patel picked up two wickets each. Earlier, India had won the toss and chose to field first, a decision that did not pay off as Pakistan’s batters dominated the proceedings.
