Pakistan Shaheens began the pursuit with a strong opening stand as Maaz Sadaqat and Mohammad Naeem added 56 runs. Naeem fell for 14 but Sadaqat maintained control of the chase. He received steady support from Yasir Khan and later Mohammad Faiq, guiding Pakistan beyond the hundred mark and comfortably over the line with plenty of overs remaining.
Earlier, India A opted to bat and started positively through Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Naman Dhir. Their momentum was interrupted when Shahid Aziz and Saad Masood struck early. Regular wickets followed and India A were bowled out for 136 in 19 overs. Suryavanshi top scored with 45.
Shahid Aziz was the standout bowler for Pakistan with figures of three for 24. Maaz Sadaqat and Saad Masood picked up two wickets each while Ubaid Shah, Ahmed Daniyal and Sufiyan Muqeem claimed one wicket apiece. The comprehensive performance with both bat and ball lifted the Shaheens into the last four with strong momentum.
