According to reports, the platform is redesigning the area beneath videos to reduce visual clutter and improve the viewing experience for users.

Under the new layout, detailed channel information will be minimized, with only the channel logo and username displayed prominently. Interactive buttons such as Like, Dislike, Share, and the AI-powered “Ask” feature will appear in a single row alongside the channel details.

Additional options including Save, Download, and Report will be moved into an overflow menu, helping streamline the interface and reduce on-screen distractions.

YouTube is also increasing the size of video titles, making them easier to read and improving overall accessibility.

The redesign is intended to modernize the platform’s interface and make key functions more accessible without overwhelming viewers with information.

One of the most notable changes is the increased visibility of YouTube’s AI-powered “Ask” feature, which allows users to interact with videos through artificial intelligence. The company appears to be placing greater emphasis on AI tools as part of its broader strategy to enhance content discovery and user engagement.

The updated interface is expected to roll out gradually to users in the coming weeks.
