According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the delegation included US House of Representatives members Ryan Keith Zinke of Montana and Michael James of Washington.
The meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, regional developments, bilateral defence cooperation and ways to strengthen economic collaboration between Pakistan and the United States.
Field Marshal Munir highlighted Pakistan’s economic potential, saying sustainable regional stability depends on economic growth, expanded trade and greater regional connectivity.
He also outlined Pakistan’s ongoing structural reforms aimed at creating a more business-friendly environment and attracting foreign investment.
The visiting lawmakers acknowledged Pakistan’s role in promoting regional stability and economic resilience.
Drawing on the delegation’s professional backgrounds and expertise, both sides discussed opportunities to enhance bilateral economic engagement, encourage private-sector partnerships and strengthen trade relations between the two countries.
The US delegation thanked the military leadership for its hospitality and expressed a shared commitment to expanding economic, commercial and institutional ties between Pakistan and the United States.
