Speaking at a press conference of the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee alongside Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi, Ashrafi said those who sacrifice their lives for the country deserve the highest respect.

"There can be no compromise on the honour and sanctity of our martyrs," he said, adding that Pakistan s security forces are defending the country by making the ultimate sacrifice.

Ashrafi said members of the armed forces do not serve merely for employment or financial benefits but perform their duties with patriotism, commitment to national security, and the spirit of martyrdom.

He stressed that the sacrifices of martyrs cannot be measured or replaced, describing martyrdom as one of the highest honours.

He urged political leaders to avoid dragging national institutions into political disputes and instead work to strengthen the morale of security personnel.

"The entire nation stands with Pakistan s armed forces and other security institutions in the fight against terrorism," he said.

Ashrafi also called on the public not to support extremist groups or elements seeking to spread unrest in the country.

Murad Ali Shah Praises Armed Forces

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said Sindh is the land of Sufi saints who preached peace, tolerance, and harmony.

He reaffirmed the provincial government s commitment to promoting peace and national unity in cooperation with the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee.

Murad Ali Shah said Pakistan s armed forces have made unmatched sacrifices for the country s defence and peace, adding that their services should always be respected.

Sharjeel Memon Calls Martyrs a National Asset

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said religious scholars have a vital role in promoting peace, tolerance, and social harmony.

He described the sacrifices of martyrs as a priceless national asset and said no one should be allowed to disrespect them.

Memon added that Pakistan s challenges can only be overcome through unity, harmony, and collective national efforts.
