The agreement was signed by Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon and Wang Shanpu, chairman of the Chinese company.
The ceremony also featured a documentary highlighting 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, underscoring their long-standing strategic partnership.
During the visit, President Zardari also attended the commissioning of the Pakistan Navy’s first Hangor-class submarine, PNS/M Hangor, in Sanya. He held meetings with Chinese provincial leadership to review the full spectrum of bilateral relations, with a focus on economic cooperation and CPEC.
