Filmmaker Victoria Yakubov said, “I didn t even have my morning coffee. I came straight here to buy a fan.” She added that all available fans were sold out within just 30 minutes.
The head of sales at the electronics store told the news agency that demand for fans and air conditioners has increased dramatically over the past week since the heatwave began.
According to the French national weather service, temperatures in Paris are expected to reach as high as 38 degrees Celsius.
