The group was among seven Lao nationals who entered a cave in Xaisomboun province to search for gold but became stranded after water levels rose and cut off their escape route.
Kengkard Bongkawong, a Thai cave diver participating in the rescue mission, said in a Facebook post on Saturday that all five trapped individuals had successfully emerged from the cave.
Footage shared by volunteers showed rescuers guiding the survivors out of the cave. The men were wearing head-mounted flashlights and mud-covered clothing after enduring days underground.
The rescued individuals appeared emotional and relieved, with some seen crying as they were brought to safety.
Rescuers had located the five survivors on Wednesday, but difficult conditions prevented their immediate extraction, leaving them trapped for several more days.
Authorities said operations would continue in an effort to locate the remaining two missing members of the group.
A team of volunteer rescuers from neighbouring Thailand joined the mission last Sunday, while additional support later arrived from several countries, including Finland, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan and Australia.
According to volunteer groups involved in the operation, the international rescue team included experienced cave divers, some of whom participated in the dramatic 17-day rescue of a youth football team from the flooded Tham Luang cave in northern Thailand in 2018.
The multinational effort played a key role in the successful extraction of the five survivors, while hopes remain that the two missing individuals will also be found.
