According to ISPR, the SCO visited Zhob where he offered Eid prayers alongside officers and soldiers deployed on the front lines.

Special prayers were also offered for the peace, stability and prosperity of Pakistan.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir laid a floral wreath at the martyrs memorial and paid tribute to the sacrifices of those who gave their lives in defense of the country.


The SCO appreciated the high morale, unwavering resolve and operational preparedness of the troops, stating that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared to respond to all kinds of threats.

He strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Quetta and said the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism are unforgettable.


The Field Marshal said that Fitna al Hindustan, operating under Indian patronage, and its facilitators are targeting innocent civilians, but such cowardly acts cannot weaken the resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces and the nation.

He further stated that the Pakistan Army, law enforcement agencies and the people of Balochistan will continue operations until terrorism is completely eradicated and the malicious intentions of anti-state elements are defeated.
