According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, met with President Pezeshkian and exchanged views on the regional security situation, peace-building efforts, and stability in the region.

The ISPR stated that the Iranian president appreciated Pakistan s constructive and responsible role in promoting dialogue, reducing tensions, and fostering regional stability.
President Pezeshkian also commended Pakistan s continued diplomatic efforts aimed at the peaceful resolution of regional conflicts and encouraging reconciliation among different parties.
During the meeting, Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan s unwavering commitment to regional peace and stability.
Both leaders also expressed their determination to further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Iran and to continue close consultations on issues of mutual interest.
According to the military s media wing, the two sides agreed to enhance cooperation in pursuit of their shared objective of promoting peace, prosperity, and stability across the region.
