Addressing the participants, Field Marshal Munir said the consistent efforts of security forces and law enforcement agencies, backed by the unwavering support of the people, would ensure lasting peace in Balochistan.
He reaffirmed that targeted operations against Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan would continue with full determination until terrorism and its facilitators were eliminated from Pakistan.
"The armed forces remain firmly committed to dismantling terrorist infrastructure wherever it poses a threat to the country and its people," the ISPR quoted the army chief as saying.
Field Marshal Munir said foreign-sponsored proxies had persistently attempted to fuel violence, destabilise the province and undermine peace in Balochistan.
He, however, stressed that these efforts would be met with a firm and decisive response by Pakistan s armed forces, supported by the resilience and unity of the nation.
His remarks came as security forces continued intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Mastung district.
According to security sources, six alleged Fitna al-Hindustan militants were killed during an operation in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, while several others, including facilitators and male and female suicide bombers, were arrested.
During the session, the army chief described Balochistan as the pride of Pakistan, saying the province was rich in natural resources and home to resilient, patriotic people who remained its greatest strength.
He said ongoing development initiatives by the federal and provincial governments were aimed at transforming the province s socio-economic landscape through an inclusive and people-centric approach.
Field Marshal Munir also appreciated the role of civil society, academia, media and youth in promoting national integration and contributing to Balochistan s long-term peace and prosperity.
Emphasising the importance of national unity and perseverance, he said these values were essential for shaping Pakistan s future.
The session concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which participants reaffirmed their commitment to Pakistan s stability, progress and sovereignty.
