The military’s media wing said the operations were conducted as part of a continued series of intelligence-based actions in the region, targeting multiple militant hideouts.
According to ISPR, security forces engaged several locations in Miran Shah, leading to intense exchanges of fire in which 27 militants were killed. The statement added that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the sites.
ISPR said the individuals were involved in multiple terrorist activities, including targeted killings of civilians.
The statement further claimed that the operation resulted in the elimination of those responsible for the recent killing of a local figure, Malik Saifullah Dawar, stating that the perpetrators had been “brought to justice.”
Security forces continue to conduct sanitisation operations in the area to clear any remaining militant presence, the statement added.
