Rawalpindi and Lahore are the most affected cities. Out of the new cases, 21 were from Rawalpindi and 6 from Lahore. Other cities also reported new patients — Sahiwal had 4 cases, Faisalabad 3, and Sargodha 2. One case each was found in Khanewal, Hafizabad, Vehari, Lodhran, Pakpattan, and Attock.

This year, Lahore has recorded 373 dengue cases, Rawalpindi 968, and Murree 117. In total, 2,053 people in Punjab have been infected with dengue so far. Health officials have urged people to keep their surroundings clean, remove standing water, and take precautions to protect themselves from mosquito bites.
