My journey did not begin with expert training or external validation. Growing up as one of four sisters in a loving family, I always held a deep desire for growth and independence. I wanted the ability to navigate my daily life and reach my school with confidence. I felt a gentle urge to prove that dedication and hard work are what truly define a person’s potential, regardless of gender.
I made a conscious decision to start training with focus and patience. I viewed the motorcycle as a helpful tool much like how we use technology in our daily lives. While there is often a natural hesitation when learning something new, I chose to embrace the process with a positive mindset.
I found a quiet, peaceful space to practice, giving myself the time to understand the machine’s balance and weight. By focusing on my own progress rather than external pressures, I slowly built my comfort level.
I spent time getting to know how the bike moved, and only when I felt ready and calm did I take the next steps. When I finally mastered the rhythm of the clutch and the throttle, the initial hesitation turned into a feeling of genuine accomplishment. When I shared this journey with my father, he saw my determination and supported me, which made my path even more rewarding.
To everyone, especially my sisters, I want to say this: Focus on your goal.
