The grand opening, held on Thursday, marked what Donaldson described as, one of the most rewarding days of my life.

The launch comes at a time when the YouTube phenomenon is also celebrating an eye watering milestone, 100 billion views on his channel. Speaking during a series of interviews for his Saudi media tour, he noted that the idea behind Beastland grew from a simple but persistent request from fans worldwide. People always tell me they wish they could be in a MrBeast video. Now they practically can.

Beastland, inspired by MrBeast’s iconic endurance challenges, arrives as Saudi Arabia continues its ambitious cultural overhaul under Vision 2030 an initiative spearheaded by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Once known for its strictly conservative social landscape, the kingdom has rapidly evolved into a year round hub of global entertainment, hosting megastars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Naomi Campbell, and Sofia Vergara.

Where cinemas and concerts were once scarce, events like Riyadh Season now dominate half the calendar, showcasing the country’s swift and sweeping transformation.

Beastland blends neon blue roller coasters, high intensity rides, and American gladiator style challenges into an experience Donaldson calls chaotic fun in the best possible way.

One of the park’s headline games features competitors racing to press a button the moment it lights up, with the slowest participant plunging into the so-called  Cushioned Dome. The entire setup is designed not only for visitors but also as a ready-made stage for MrBeast’s upcoming videos, thanks to the studio-friendly infrastructure Saudi Arabia offers.

Donaldson says Riyadh made perfect sense, especially because seventy percent of my audience lives outside the U.S., and Riyadh sits at the crossroads of the world.”
He added with emphasis. Come see for yourself—Saudi Arabia is far more developed than most people expect.

Saudi Arabia has poured astonishing sums into attracting global talent. For instance, Cristiano Ronaldo’s deal with Al-Nassr is reportedly valued at over $200 million, underscoring the kingdom’s determination to claim a front-row seat in the global entertainment arena.

Despite his global influence, MrBeast has had his share of controversy. Just months ago, Mexico filed a lawsuit against a company allegedly involved in helping MrBeast’s team film near ancient Maya pyramids, an incident that reignited long-standing questions about protecting cultural heritage in the age of viral content.

Still, Beastland stands as a bold experiment, a fusion of digital fame and physical reality, crafted to turn viewers into front-line participants.
