The Puerto Rican rapper and singer was performing at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, February 8, when Gaga joined him on stage. She performed a new version of Die With a Smile, the song she originally recorded with Bruno Mars, and later danced alongside Bad Bunny.

The surprise collaboration came shortly after the two shared a moment at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1. During the ceremony, Gaga appeared emotional as Bad Bunny won an award for his hit song DtMF.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, the 31-year-old artist recalled meeting Gaga at the Grammys. In a clip from the event, she is seen hugging him from behind. He said she told him she loved him, to which he responded with the same words.

Gaga was not the only celebrity to make a cameo during the halftime show. Other stars who appeared included Pedro Pascal, Ricky Martin, Cardi B, Karol G, Jessica Alba, and Alix Earle.
