The case was heard in the District and Sessions Court (South), Karachi, where FIA officials presented their comprehensive report against the accused.

According to the final charge sheet, actress Nadia Hussain’s name has not been included among the accused. However, her husband, Atif Khan, along with five others, has been formally charged and will face trial.

The report states that the investigation found conclusive evidence of forgery, breach of trust, and large-scale financial fraud against the accused individuals.

It is worth noting that Atif Muhammad Khan, husband of well-known television personality Nadia Hussain, was arrested earlier this year in March by the FIA over allegations of embezzling millions from a private bank.

As per FIA officials, Atif Khan was appointed CEO of a private bank on July 1, 2015. During his tenure, he allegedly established a personal company in violation of corporate policy.

Following concerns raised by the bank’s Group Head, a formal complaint was submitted last year, leading to an investigation that uncovered serious financial irregularities during his leadership period.
