According to officials, the distribution will be carried out through JazzCash to ensure transparency, efficiency, and ease of access for recipients. In the first phase, eligible beneficiaries will receive Rs. 2,000 per month, totaling Rs. 12,000 over a six-month period.

Over the course of a year, each beneficiary is expected to receive up to Rs. 24,000 under the Zakat assistance program. Authorities say the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to provide financial relief to underprivileged communities and strengthen social welfare systems.

The Zakat Department has urged eligible individuals to ensure their registration and verification processes are complete so they can receive funds without delay. Officials also emphasized that digital payment channels will help minimize fraud and improve accountability in the distribution process.
