Despite global uncertainty, the international bullion market stayed anchored, leaving gold unchanged at $4,083 per ounce. This stability echoed across Pakistan’s local market, where the price of gold per tola remained fixed at Rs 430,662, while 10 grams held steady at Rs 369,223.
Market analysts noted that this steadiness was expected, especially after Saturday’s dramatic drop of Rs 9,100 per tola, a slide that had briefly stirred the market.
Silver, however, broke the pattern of stillness. The metal registered a modest yet notable rise, with the price per tola increasing by Rs 55, bringing it to Rs 5,368.
Traders describe the current trend as a pause before the next pulse, suggesting that markets often take a breather before shifting gears. For everyday investors, these movements serve as a gentle reminder that markets may rest, but they rarely sleep.
