According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs1,500, settling at Rs530,562. The decline comes after a strong upward streak that had kept the market on edge.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs1,286, bringing it down to Rs454,871. Market observers say the dip appears small but notable, especially after days of steady increases.

In contrast, silver continued its upward move. Across the country, silver prices rose by Rs212, reaching Rs11,640 per tola. The rise suggests a mixed trend in the precious metals market, where gold cooled slightly while silver gathered pace.

Experts believe that short-term market adjustments and changing demand patterns are driving these price movements. Whether this pause in gold prices is temporary or the start of a new trend remains to be seen.
